Film Photography
It's all about the grain, the tone, the timeless feel.
Film photography is a match made in heaven for weddings. Whether it's the classic beauty of black and white or the creamy hues of colour film, I offer over 20 years of analogue photography experience…

There’s something undeniably special about shooting on film—the soft grain, the rich tones, the way light is captured with depth and emotion. Whether it’s the classic beauty of black and white or the dreamy hues of colour film, it brings a timeless quality that digital just can’t replicate.
I've been an analogue photographer for over 20 years, and film isn't just a stylistic choice—it's a craft. Every frame is intentional, every click thoughtful. It slows things down in the best way, letting your moments breathe and unfold naturally.
If you're drawn to the romance of film, the raw texture, the warmth—it might just be the perfect fit for your day.

Film is soulful, imperfect, and deeply human—just like love.

I have quite the collection of Film Cameras from a 1937 Rolleiflex through to more 'modern' Canon SLR's from the 90s. Typically for a wedding shoot I'll bring the camera for the 'look' you'll require. My workhorse camera is the Leica MP for 35mm photos. For a classical vintage look - it's got to be the square format of my Bronica or Rolleiflex. Wanting something more fun I've got 90s point and shoots that give the party vibed red eyed look. Hey, I've even been known to take out the plastic fantastic Holga 120 for some on the fly couple portraits for a unique lo-fi look that just can't be matched with digital photography.
My film of choice comes from Kodak and Ilford. I love the versatility of Kodak Portra for colour with its softer colour palette and gorgeous grain. Ilford Photo can't be beat for its black and white range of film. I mean they're only been making it for over 140 years!! And the film is manufactured right here in the UK.
