Welcome to the blog — a space to share real love stories, helpful planning advice, and behind-the-scenes moments from weddings I’ve photographed across London, Essex, and beyond. I specialise in candid, documentary-style photography with a relaxed, inclusive approach.

Katie & Paul - Burgh House Hampstead Wedding

Katie and Paul celebrated their day at the beautiful Burgh House and Hampstead Museum, followed by an evening reception at one of their favourite local pubs The Adam and Eve in Mill Hill.

The day began at Katie and Paul's north London home, where Katie got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family - one of my favourite parts of any wedding day. As a documentary wedding photographer, I especially love capturing getting-ready moments in real homes, where you're surrounded by all your 'stuff'. In years to come, this will become as much an important memory as the wedding day itself. Side note - I'm so in love with their bedroom wallpaper!

Meanwhile, Paul and best man picked up the vintage Routemaster Bus - a former no. 73 - collecting the wedding party before making their way to the venue in proper London fashion.

Burgh House is one of Hampstead's hidden gems - a stunning Queen Anne townhouse that makes a beautiful backdrop for relaxed, intimate weddings.

It had all the elements with a cheeky nephew, tearful Aunties and the evening ended exactly as it should - a full-on 90s rave that had every generation onto the dance floor.

If you’re planning a wedding at Burgh House, or anywhere across London and the Home Counties, I’d love to hear from you! Get in touch here.
